Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation.

Previously he was head of MINUSMA in Bamako (2015-2021) before becoming head of the United Nations office for West Africa and the Sahel. Among his many roles as an international diplomat, Mahamat Saleh Annadif was the African Union Special Representative for Somalia and Head of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).

He is a member of the International Advisory Council of the African Press Organization.

Annadif holds a telecommunications engineering degree from the École Polytechnique de Madagascar.
